you are incorrect they are 53 minute versions NOT 50!

you are losing your edge (oh wait you never had it) as
Republic never made 50 minute edits, the format was always 53 minute edits for a 60 minute time slot on TV

The point of the post is not the amount of time the cuts run for. Although most of these prints end up running to about 50 mins when mastered for PAL video - which tends to be the format I use.

The point of the post is that the longer versions of some of these films have been lost due to the release of the TV cuts. Your rather obtuse nitpicking about exact running times doesn't change that pure and simple fact.
